Irish Schools' Steeplechase Champion wins Finn Valley AC 5km.

In an unusually sunny evening Noel Collins from Omagh Harriers, who won the Irish Schools Steeplechase Three weeks ago, was a convincing winner of the Donegal Athletic Board Grand Prix Series hosted by Finn Valley AC.

Martin O' Halloran of Finn Valley finished 2nd holding off Ivan Toner of Letterkenny in a close battle, with O' Halloran striding away on the track and finishing ahead by two seconds.

In the ladies race an ever improving Teresa Mc Gloin won in a time of 17.52, Kay Byrne winning the Masters Ladies race in a time of 18.51. Shane Bonnar FVAC won the Junior men's and from Inishowen the First Wheelchair athlete home was Karl Doherty in a time of 17.50.

Congratulations to all athletes and a special thanks to Mark Connolly and all his team who made the race such a success.
