Donegal County Athletics Board Sportshall Competitions
Donegal County Athletics Board are running a series of four Sportshall competitions for athletes born 1999,98,97,96
The format is FUN based.Clubs send 12 athletes (boys or girls) born 1996/7 and 12 athletes (boys or girls) 1998/9. Each team must have a manager with them. No athletes names registered but cost is 36 euro per team (3 euro per athlete)
Events are as follows:

1 lap Team races: Each team sends groups of 3 onto floor until all athletes complete 1 lap each (60 metres).

Speed Bounce: 4 athletes per team with cumulative total (20 seconds)

Standing Long Jump: 4 athletes per team with cumulative total (3 attempts best to score)

Sitting Chest Push: 4 athletes per team with cumulative total (3 attempts best to score)

Team Relays: Each team sends 2 teams of 6 onto floor until all athletes complete 1 lap each (60 metres).

Scoring is as follows: 6 points = 1st / 5 = 2nd / 4 = 3rd etc…. team with highest score leads all teams below 3rd have equal scores
The competition will begin at 12 noon and teams need to be declared by 11.45 at the latest. Contact David Doherty or Niall Magee know this week if you are attending the event in Dungloe.
