Donegal Master Class in Tullamore

A number of Donegal athletes travelled to Tullamore Co Offaly for the National Masters. On a cold but dry day Kathleen Merit kicked of by winning both the hammer and Javelin whilst later on Kathleen won the discus and was 2nd in the Shot, the 1st track race of the day included Kay Byrne who in turn won the 3k in 10.58. Eamonn Giles Cranford AC winning the V7 category in the 5km Walk, Whilst Hugh Gallagher won all 5 of his events. Other notable performances were Gerard Bogle winning the 80om and 3rd in the 1500m, Gary Crossan Letterkenny AC finishing 2nd in the 800m and winning the 1500m, Kieran Carlin coming out with two golds in both the 800m and he 1500m. A good return for the Donegal athletes.
