Peadar Celebrates his 70th birthday

A large crowd of family connection and club members came together in the Finn Valley centre to celebrate Peaders 70th birthday . An excellent night was had with speeches by his son Peader ,club chairman Patsy and Pat the Cope with Peader ,Sen , responding . Peader,s contribution to the affairs of Valley going back some 35 years are legendary and now as active as ever he continues . Acompanied by his wife Sadie and all his 6 children and many grand children an enjoyable meal was served with the dancers taling to the floor afterwards . Home for a few hours and back on deck for the routine of training Sunday morning. A roll out of his association with numerous teams was potrayed as was family occassions on the big screen and how fitting that the Centre was the focal point as he himself has given many years to the development of same . Finally all wish him many years of good health and long may his contribution continue .
