The death of Jonathan Campbell

The death of Jonathan Campbell was received by all in Finn Valley AC with profound regret. Having endured a long period of sickness which he borne with great fortitude, Jon, from St Johnstone,as he was known to many was a very capable road runner who at one time held the club record for the marathon was a member of many successful masters team and was the first club webmaster we ever had. He discussed his illness with his close friends in recent years and soldiered on as a senior lecturer at LYIT to the best of his ability through much of the period of his treatment. He was tough, determined, an excellent teacher, a good friend and his contribution to the Finn Valley club was most important. To his family sincerest sympathy is extended . May he rest in peace.
