Work is ongoing at the all weather pitch to the rear of the club, and completion date is hoped for mid September. Construction was delayed due to poor weather conditions.

All juveniles are now on a training break for the month of August. This is a well deserved rest after a successful and enjoyable year of competition.

All eyes now will be fixed on the television as the European Track and Field Championships get under way. The club and all sporting enthusiasts wish Patsy McGonagle and the Irish Team the best of luck
