Impressive International Result for Brian O Domnhaill.

Brian O Domnhaill completed a busy comeback season with second place in
multi-international 20k walk in Holland over the weekend. His time of
1.41.29 is a personal best and a new Donegal best adds up to a very
impressive performance. The story of the race unfolded with Brian and a
Dutch athlete head to head for 12k; he managed to retain his momentum
as he faced the challenge for the silver on his own. It has been an
encouraging season for the Valley athlete and one from which he can
take a lot of encouragement; he also collected silver in the national
20k behind Jamie Costin. Brian has had to combine his training with a
hectic life as a politician.

There will be a club meeting this Thursday evening; and a reminder to
all 12 year olds plus that initial training has begun with a full
return on school reopening.
