1st October 2004:
On 29th and 30th September, Finn Valley A.C. hosted two highly successful
days of cross-country at their sports
centre in Stranorlar. Some 1400 young athletes
from local primary and post-primary schools participated. It
provided an excellent
opportunity to sample the sport and again the local experienced organisation
was excellent. Many schools that had not previously been involved attended
and it augurs well for the future. The cross-country season is now in full
swing at all levels. Finally a thank you from race director, Patsy
McGonagle, to all the officials that were on duty over the two days.
