All-Ireland Gold for Valley in KillybegsThe All-Ireland even age group and Novice Cross-Country Championships were held in Killybegs last weekend. Great credit must be given to the host club Killybegs A.C. who had done Trojan work setting up a great course in the most picturesque surroundings possible and the weather was more than kind for a mid-December fixture with sunshine and blue skies all the way.Finn Valley juveniles were looking forward to this championship with defending champions in the under 14 boys in good shape and they certainly did the business winning the Gold medals easily. A total of 27 medals were won by Finn Valley athletes on the day in the under 12 to under 18 Championships.
