Valley Athletes in Good Form at Letterkenny Turkey Trot

Charlie Gallagher and Catriona McGranaghan were both in great form at the Annual Turkey Trot hosted by Letterkenny A.C. The race was held on Sunday morning in excellent conditions for road racing. Charlie Gallagher, just returning from injury, put in a great performance winning the race in a time of 15.38. Catriona McGranaghan was back in top form setting a new club record for 5K (Road) of 16.57. Other performances of note from club athletes were Pat Hegarty (16.21), Mark Connolly (16.48), Enda Doherty who continues his excellent season at juvenile level had a p.b. of 17.10, Bernard McCabe 17.26, Alan Cavanagh 18.00, Kay Byrne 18.04, Drew Doherty 18.05, Daniel Ossiach 18.09, Brendan Alexander 19.35, Brian Patton 20.35, Ronan McCabe 21.10.

Mullingar

Our juvenile athletes will be travelling to the National even age Cross Country Championships in Mullingar on Sunday. The bus leaves the Finn Valley Centre at 7.00 a.m. on Sunday morning. Good luck to all.

Christmas Party

The juvenile athletes Christmas Party will be held on Thursday, 16th December and the adults Christmas Dinner will be held on Saturday, 18th December.
