Annual Invitation Cross Country

These events now well established through the years and welcomed by both sectors of education provide an ideal opportunity for students to come along and have a go basically to come along and try it without any great pressure .

The primary sector have their event on September 26th catering for under 9,11,13 age divisions while the secondary sector go to the line the following day September 27th.

This project led by Irish athletics team manager Patsy Mc Gonagle and a capable experienced support crew has built year on year in terms of the response it has generated.  In 2011 74 primary schools and 29 secondary schools accepted the invitation so we look forward to an enthuiastic turnout late September.
