Donegal Athletes Contribute to Irish Celtic Win

Donegal athletes the next generation contributed handsomely to a Celtic Games youth team victory in Aberdeen Saturday over neighbours Scotland and Wales.

Finn Valleys Felllan Mc Guigan with a new pb in the hammer at 67.39m a win , Kate Mc Gowan from Donegal Town a victory and a gold  performance plus a Celtic record of 11.67 in 80m h into a -2.5 wind with  Valleys John Kelly in the shot 16.51m  with his clubmate Dalton Mc Guigan and brorher of Fellan taking the bronze in the steeple 2k 6.20.85.

Well done and we look forward to many fine performances from these young hopefuls who are national age group champions in Ireland.
