In the U15 4x100m relay, Finn Valley AC won silver. The team of Riona Doherty, Grainne Cannon, Amy Timoney and Katie Louise McMonagle finished in 52.86 seconds, pipped by Crookstown Millview AC (51:38).
Finn Valley won bronze in the U17 4x100m relay, with April Doherty, Leah McMonagle, Hannah Murray and Aoife McGee finishing in 52.09 seconds. The gold was won by City of Lisburn (50.72 seconds) and Crookstown Millview (51.91) took silver.

Best wishes to Hannah Murray, the St Columba’s College student who is off to Derby this weekend as part of an Irish Schools team for a Schools International. The Castlefin woman will be competing with athletes from England, Scotland and Wales.
Finn Valley AC’s Gerard Gallagher was the winner of the Donegal 5k Championships on Sunday in Letterkenny. Gerard led the way in 15 minutes and 26 seconds to collect the Shane Bonner Memorial Cup, named in honour of the popular Finn Valley AC athlete who tragically died in February 2011.
Finn Valley won the women’s team, led by 12th placed Jennifer Elvin (17:08), who had strong back up from Teresa Doherty (17:18), Natasha Kelly (17:42) and Catriona Devine (18:54). Finn Valley were silver men’s team with Gallagher, Dermot McElchar (16:18), James McFadden (17:00) and Barry Gallagher (17:13) scoring and the masters men finished fourth, the scoring team comprising Peter McMenamin (17:59), Adrian Moore (19:04), Michael Gallagher (20:07) and Michael Penrose (21:02).
There were category wins for Finn Valley AC’s Emer O’Brien, Catriona Devine, Kay Byrne, Noreen Bonner.
