Invitation to Health & Wellbeing Evening at Finn Valley Centre

The

annual Health & Wellbeing Evening in conjunction with the Finn Valley Centre and the Finn Valley Community Health Forum will take place at the Finn Valley Centre on Thursday 14th

of June from 7pm to 9.30pm. This is the 4th

year of what has been to date a very successful and well-received event in the community.

The

aim of the evening is to raise awareness of health and wellbeing and what is available in the area to promote this. While people may be aware of services, supports, and business offerings with a health focus, they often need guidance and encouragement in a

relaxed and informal setting to check things out and try new experiences.

This

event has grown year on year to the point where it will now take place in the large Sports Hall in the Finn Valley Centre so as to accommodate as many groups, businesses and organisation’s wishing to take part, however, it is anticipated that space will be

 limited.

As

a business or group, this is an excellent opportunity to promote your services and products and demonstrate how they promote general health and wellbeing.

Stands

are free to both businesses and community groups. However, there would be an expectation that all who are able to would provide some samples, tasters of their products or services or a prize for the raffle.  In the case of food outlets, if possible provide

free food tasters and those providing services could, where possible hold demonstrations and/or taster sessions for the public. Those providing samples or tasters etc. may also sell products on the night.

We

also expect some of the statutory agencies to be on hand to answer questions and give advice and guidance.

If

your business or group wishes to take part please reply to this invitation by the 20th

April stating your interest.  A list will then be compiled of businesses and groups taking part at which time you will be contacted regarding your specific requirements for the event.
