On a memorable weekend in Croke Park for Donegal and attended by many Finn Valley members young and old with special congratulations to Glenfin Man Frank Mc Glynn an outstanding schoolboy athlete and indeed a nephew of our own Neil Martin and of course Marty O Reilly whose connection with Valley was an All Ireland medal in ball throw as a young boy .
Well done and congrats to Jim and the entire team playing members and management not forgetting County treasurer Grace Boyle a committee member at the club for many years now and our neighbour Co chairman P J Mc Gowan .
On the athletic field it was James Speight in France competing for Ireland in Duathlon under 23 finishing 12th. Well done James.
A few 5k events this weekend in aid of Cancer on Sunday while we host the primary and secondary schools cross country Wednesday and Thursday.
