Teresa Mc Gloin Medals at Senior Indoors

She added a silver national senior medal to her tally in the 3k on this ocassion . Her mental approach and competitive instinct was good and she went head to head with Hazel Murphy ,Dublin,for 6 laps before dropping off before picking it up again on the ultimate laps. 

The Kinlough girl returned 9-47  is obviously in great shape and can certainly run faster indeed medal consistently at this level so whether its the national cross country Sunday week or the National 10k on the road she can look forward with confidence.  Mark Hoye won his 3k heat at 8-45 and has to be encouraged by that. 

Before leaving National senior success reflecting on a really good weekend for Donegal a 1 2 in 1500m for Daniel Mooney and Ruairi Finnegan , Mary Mc Lone retaining triple jump ,Karl Griffin excellent silver in 800 and Geraldine Stewart 2nd shot . Well done all 

Our juveniles did well in Ulster underage John Kelly ,Blaithnaid Patton,Karen Kelly,under 14 relay team,Naoimh Mc Granaghan ,Jade Leeper,Janine Boyle particularly excelled . Full results attached well done all athletes and coachs .

Bosco Reid won the Scottish Masters over 50 shot 10-84 continuing a competitive streak for the Buncrana based osteopath. Tori Pena cleared 4-30m in pole at Millrose Games .

Next up the Finn Valley 5k series Sunday morning 11 am . Pre enter please to finnvalley1@gmail.com while the Ulster schools are on Feb 22nd and the next FVAC Floodlit meeting is on that same evening check in 6-30 to start sharp 7pm . THen Feb 26th we move to Santry to National junior / senior cross country .Teresa Mc Gloin since her early days in athletics has year on year continued to establish herself as a serious athlete and this was further underlined on Saturday night in the Odyssey, Belfast.
