Ulster X Country Programme Underway

On a beautiful Autumn day the Ulster x country programme got underway for yet another season with an excited Finn Valley contingent on board their 46th annual outing and they as a club remain as competitive as ever . The top returns from the Valley teams on this occasion came from their u 10 ,u 12 and u 14 age divisions though th u 18 boys missing their lead athlete Eoghan Bradley through injury showed good attitude which team leaders should be encouraged by. Going forward to national are the u12 and u 14 girls . while many will be included on county teams in each age division . Good individual runs by Sara Bradley, Riona Doherty, Oisin Toye ,Ben Carr particularly and now its a case of preparation for Ulster uneven age champs on home ground Nov.6th @ Fvac

A large contingent hit the road this coming weekend for the Dublin marathon as many as 74 related to the club all with their own personal ambitions and challenge . Wishing all well and with weather indications positive we look forward to a good outcome after all the mileage .Beyond that Donegal senior at Valley in conjunction with inter club age relays again back at Valley Nov 13th with Youth awards ceremony later that evening . The Remembrance 10k which has been a most positive event with 500 approx. involved last year goes ahead Nov. 20th .
